



Myanmar-Belarus Business Forum was held in Minsk on Thursday. President U Min Aung Hlaing attended the forum, together with Belarus Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, senior officials, diplomats and business representatives from both countries.
President U Min Aung Hlaing made an address at the forum, which focuses on promoting economic and business cooperation between Myanmar and Belarus. Myanmar and Belarus have been working on a 2026–2028 Development Cooperation Roadmap, covering areas including trade, industry, agriculture, health, science and technology, education and tourism.
Recent cooperation has included banking arrangements for export financing and cooperation with Belarusian banks. The two sides have also discussed agricultural trade, including Myanmar exports of coffee, rice, rubber, nuts and tropical fruits, as well as imports of Belarusian meat and dairy products.
The countries are also exploring joint ventures and technology cooperation in areas such as agricultural machinery, pharmaceuticals, automobile production and food processing. After the opening ceremony, the President and officials visited an exhibition featuring products from Myanmar.
