Efforts for labourers : Union Minister makes inspections in Yangon

Union Minister for Labour U Khin Maung Soe attended the closing ceremony of Training Course No. (14/2026) for Workplace Safety and Health Committee Members on August 17 at the National School of Occupational Safety and Health in Hlaingthaya Township, Yangon Region.

In his opening address at the ceremony, the Union Minister stated that workplace safety and health matters can only succeed through collaboration between employers and workers in the workplace.

He noted that conducting such training courses enhances the knowledge of committee members, fosters greater familiarity among inspectors, employers, and workers, and helps resolve labor issues, including safety and health concerns.

And, he presented the certificates of completion. Afterwards, the Union Minister visited the Workers' Hospital in Htantabin Township to inspect the conditions for installing hemodialysis machines and provided necessary instructions.
