Relief Measures: Provisions for flood victims in Laymyethna Township

Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw and officials  on Sunday arrived at Kwinma Village of Aithabyu Village-tract in Laymyethna Township and met with flood-affected people.

The Region Chief Minister said arrangements are being made for the rehabilitations and the regional government will continue to provide necessaries. The Chief Minister and Hluttaw representative then encouraged the affected communities and provided rice and food, followed by the health awareness program including preventive measures against diarrhoea and dengue fever.

At the Eaitsathaya monastery of SaryayKwin Village, the Chief Minister and party inspected the convenient arrangements for the flood victims including installation of B2B satellite terminal, clinics and storage of relief items, and coordinated the needs. Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister provided cash assistance for the staff families of General Administrative Department donated by GAD families.

They then proceeded to the Guest House of Irrigation and Water Utilization Department in Hinthada where the Chief Minister received the relief items for flood victims in Laymyethna Township, donated by Rotary Myanmar.
