Fish Induced Breeding Training : YGN Region CM delivered the opening address

The opening ceremony of the Basic Fish Farming and Freshwater Fish Induced Breeding Training Course No. (2/2026), organized by the Department of Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, was held Saturday morning at the Hlawga  Fisheries Station in Mingaladon Township, Yangon Region.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended the event and delivered the opening address.

Afterward, U Than Chaung, Head of the Yangon Region Department of Fisheries, presented the details regarding the opening of the training course. The Chief Minister then warmly greeted the trainees.

Following this, Chief Minister and officials inspected the fish hatchery, where responsible officials briefed them on operational conditions, and the Chief Minister provided necessary guidance.

The instructors will deliver both theoretical and practical training to 30 trainees from August 14 to August 16, it’s reported.
