Kachin State Hluttaw : Third day meeting held in Myitkyina

The third day of the Third Regular Session of the Third Kachin State Hluttaw was held in Myitkyina on Friday. Eleven Hluttaw Representatives raised 15 questions on planning, finance, social affairs, agriculture, livestock and irrigation, natural resources and environmental conservation, and development affairs.

The relevant state ministers replied to the questions. The Hluttaw also announced the appointment of Colonel Soe Yan Naung as Kachin State Minister for Security and Border Affairs, who later took the oath of office before the Hluttaw Speaker. The Hluttaw then discussed and recorded the 2024-2025 financial-year report on the activities of the Kachin State Auditor-General.
