Conducting Field Inspection: Shan State CM conducted field inspection in Linkhay Dist.

Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Sao, along with responsible officials, conducted an inspection on the morning of August 10 in the Pon Hton village tract, Linkhay District, near Pan Kyaing Village. They examined the site for the construction of the Linkhay Solar Power Project (30 MW) and the installation of power transmission poles for the solar power plant, as well as the progress of the Mawkmai–Wan Hat–Linkhay road (mileposts 28/2). After hearing briefings from responsible officials, the Chief Minister provided necessary coordination and support.

 

Following this, the Chief Minister and officials attended a donation ceremony held at the Narkone Pariyatti Monastery in Narkone Village, Narkone village tract, Linkhay Township, for the construction of a new two-story school building. They offered alms and donations to the venerable sayadaws and presented cash donations for the new building.

 

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the maintenance and repair work on the 33 kV Nam Tun–Mawkmai power transmission line, which supplies electricity to Mawkmai Township. They also visited the construction site of Bridge No. 2/1, Kyaung Khone Bridge (240 feet), along the Mawkmai–Wan Hat–Linkhay road, and inspected the approach road works. After hearing briefings from responsible officials, the Chief Minister provided necessary coordination and support. 

 

Afterward, the Chief Minister and officials visited Mawkmai People’s Hospital, where they offered words of encouragement to local residents receiving medical treatment and provided nutritional food supplies. They also attended a ceremony held at the Myo Taw Thiri Mingala Dhammayon hall in Myo Taw Market Ward, Mawkmai Town, to pay respect to elderly citizens aged 75 and above, presenting them with alms and donations.

 

Furthermore, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the construction project for a new 70 ft × 30 ft steel-reinforced concrete two-story school building at the Branch Middle School (Market Ward) in Mawkmai Township, donated by Kanbawza Foundation; the Mawkmai–Sai Khaung road; and the Women's Domestic Science Vocational Training School in Sai Khaung , Pa-O Self-Administered Zone. After receiving briefings from responsible officials on these matters, the Chief Minister provided necessary coordination and support.
