Brazil and Chile's foreign ministers give statement after meeting in Brasilia

Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira and his Chilean counterpart Francisco Perez Mackenna gave a statement at the Itamaraty palace in Brasilia on Tuesday.

The ministers reaffirmed that Chile and Brazil are strategic partners, pledge to deepen cooperation against transnational organized crime through greater information sharing between their institutions, and highlight the importance of bilateral trade, describing each other as key economic partners in Latin America.
