Efforts for Shan State : Chief Minister Makes Inspections

Shan State Chief Minister U Sai Htein Soe paid homage to Bawgyo Pagoda in Hsipaw Township on Aug. 3. Accompanied by state ministers and officials, he offered flowers, water, oil lamps and golden robes and made cash donations. 

The Chief Minister and party also inspected electricity distribution at the Hsipaw Electrical Engineering Office. They then toured the substation while receiving a briefing from officials. They later visited the Hsipaw Township General Administration Department and inspected the construction of the Hsipaw Police Station.

At the Hsipaw Township Development Office, the Chief Minister heard reports on the town's water supply system. He inspected the Hsipaw Taung Myoe Ward No. 1 Water Supply Plant and instructed officials to take necessary measures to improve services.

The Chief Minister also inspected renovation work on the RC one-storey building at Hsipaw People's Hospital and instructed officials on required actions. He also warmly met patients and distributed nutritious food. They later planted tissue-cultured bananas, together with faculty members at Basic Education Primary School (Nant Khaik) in Thiri Mahar No. 1 Ward.
