Women's Tour de France kicks off in Lausanne

Crowds turn out to cheer on riders in the Women’s Tour de France as they set off from Lausanne, Switzerland. Lorena Wiebes sprinted to victory on the opening stage on Saturday to claim the race leader's yellow jersey. The 27-year-old Dutch rider beat Mauritian Kim Le Court into second with European champion Demi Vollering third. Sunday's second stage remains in Switzerland and is a hilly 147.9km from Aigle to Geneva.
