The European Union will hold an emergency video conference of Interior Ministers on August 4, to address the migration crisis in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta. The talks follow a joint letter from 22 of the EU's 27 member states and an urgent request by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.

The Ministers will discuss reinforcing external borders, deploying support from the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, and improving cooperation with Morocco.
