Education Facilities: MOE Union Minister tours in Yangon

Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein visited the temporary Haka Education Degree College, being opened at Basic High School No.3 in Ahlone Township of Yangon on Wednesday.

She met teachers and students, encouraging them to become disciplined and knowledgeable educators who will train future generations. The Union Minister also listened to their needs, provided cash assistance, and inspected classrooms and facilities. Later, the Union Minister, and officials visited Dagon University in East Dagon Township, and met with the Rector, Pro-rectors, faculties and officials.

They discussed matters on campus cleanliness, discipline, and maintenance. The Union Minister and party later toured the campus zones including teaching, administration, residential, sports, and dining areas as well as the Ruby roundabout and drainage system. They also reviewed ongoing greening and maintenance works and provided necessary assistance.
