National Archives : Union Minister Inspects Yangon Branch

The National Archives Department is preserving historical records as they are the tresuretrove of the nation.

Union Minister for National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Aung Kyaw Hoe inspected the National Archives Department (Yangon Branch) on July 28. During the inspection, the head of the Yangon Branch briefed the Union Minister on current operational conditions.

Following the briefing, the Union Minister inspected the branch's exhibition room, archival storage rooms, reference reading room, digitization room, record archives, microfilm room, and non-paper storage room. And, the Union Minister instructed officials to systematically preserve and safeguard the records to prevent any loss or damage.
