Animal Feed Production Factory: Sagaing Region CM Makes Inspection in Monywa

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay, together with the responsible officials, visited the Kaung Pyae Sone poultry and quail feed factory in Pyidawthar Ward, Monywa on July 28.

The factory, which produces 250 bags of 66-kilogram animal feed per day, was inspected, and the factory manager explained each stage of the feed milling, production, and packaging processes.

Following the inspection, Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay stressed the importance of expanding the production of meat- and egg-producing livestock to ensure an adequate supply of meat and eggs for the people of the region. He also called on livestock feed manufacturers to produce high-quality animal feed in sufficient quantities, make it available to livestock farmers at reasonable prices, maintain high standards in product packaging, and ensure that production activities do not adversely affect the environment. He urged relevant government departments and livestock business operators to work closely together to achieve these objectives, it’s reported.
