Lula receives the President of South Korea in Brazil

Brazil President Lula da Silva receives South Korean President Lee Jae-myung in Brasília on Monday for an official visit aimed at strengthening diplomatic, trade, and technological relations between the two countries.

The meeting comes about five months after Lula’s state visit to South Korea in February, when both governments sign agreements in strategic areas. Among the main topics of discussion are cooperation on critical minerals and rare earth elements, expanding bilateral trade, and encouraging new investments.
