Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 2: The law has been enacted on July 27

Similarly, according to the amendment of Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Region or State Budget (2026), Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. 2 (2026) has been enacted.

The amended law consisted of 9 sections. It was signed by U Min Aung Hlaing, the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw has enacted this law.

1. This Law shall be called Amendment to the Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Region or State Budget (2026).

2. The expression “Budget Department of Region or State “ stated in Section 3 shall be substituted with “Region or State Budget Department”, whereas “7 March” with “7 September”.

3. The expression “1 February” in Section 17 shall be substituted with “1 August”.

4. The expression “by the last week of May” in Section 21 shall be substituted with “by the end of November.”

5. The expression “Ministry of Planning, Finance and Industry” in Section 23 (a) shall be substituted with “Ministry of Finance and Revenue”.
