Monsoon Tree Planting Event : Various shade trees planted at NSPU

The Ministry of Science and Technology held its 2026 Monsoon Tree Planting Ceremony at Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University on Saturday. Union Minister Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw led the event, planting Gantgaw sapling.

It was followed by deputy ministers, officials, faculty, and students who planted trees together. In total, more than 500 trees were planted, including Gantgaw, Khayay, Mahogany, and other shade trees. The event highlighted the ministry’s commitment to environmental conservation and community participation in greening Nay Pyi Taw.
