MSME Development: Chief Minister visits Loikaw Industrial Zone

The Kayah State Government has been providing support to help MSMEs within the state achieve sustainable growth and success.

On July 23, Chief Minister U Ant Maw visited the Loikaw Industrial Zone to inspect factory operations and ongoing road upgrade projects. During the visit, officials briefed on business activities, the restoration of electricity supply, and the upgrading of eight roads inside the industrial zone.

The Chief Minister encouraged efforts to improve business operations and attract more investors while discussing challenges faced by local business owners. He also visited factories, including furniture, agricultural machinery, edible oil, rice milling, and concrete production businesses, and instructed officials to support their continued operations.

The Chief Minister later inspected the road improvement works, funded by the 2026–2027 state budget, and urged officials to complete the projects on time and according to quality standards.
