Pyithu Hluttaw: 28th day meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The 28th day meeting of the second regular session of third Pyithu Hluttaw was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. During the meeting, Hluttaw Representatives raised questions on the plans for drafting the Township Administration Law, road upgrading in Shwe Taung Township, and construction of new bridge in Kyan Khin Township, replacing the Gway Cho Bridge, damaged by the Typhoon Yagi.

The questions also included plans for  smooth commodity flow in southern and eastern Shan State, designation of price and direct sales of agricultural inputs, as well as implementation of the Rice Export Zone (REZ) projects, farmland law, and facelifting the Naung Tone Hong Lake in Keng Taung .

Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Min Thu, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein, Deputy Ministers for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Ye Tint Tun, and U Bo Bo Kyaw responded the questions. The 29th day of the Pyithu Hluttaw will continued on July 24.
