Better Transportation: Two roads upgraded in Yangon Region

A new asphalt concrete road on Moe Kaung Road was commissioned into service in Yankin Township of Yangon Region on Thursday.

Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu attended the opening ceremony of the new facility, and formally opened the new road, together with officials. The upgraded road is 3,000 feet long and 48 feet wide. The project was completed by the Yangon City Development Committee to improve road quality and traffic.

Likewise, an upgraded asphalt concrete road on Strand Road in Botahtaung Township was opened with the attendance of Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu. The road is 3,220 feet long and 72 feet wide and was upgraded to improve transportation.
