Accepting Letter of Credence: President accepted credentials of Kazakhstan Ambassador

President U Min Aung Hlaing accepted the credentials of the newly accredited Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Myanmar Mr. Margulan Baimukhan on Wednesday at the Presidential Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

First, the Ambassador paid salute to the flags of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Republic of Kazakhstan at the Ceremonial Hall of the President's Guest House, and received a guard of honor. Afterwards, at the Credential Hall of the Presidential Guest Hall, the Ambassador presented his Letter of Credence to President U Min Aung Hlaing.

Following this, discussions were held cordially on various matters, including the strengthening and improvement of mutual cooperation and friendship between Myanmar and Kazakhstan despite the geographical distance, Kazakhstan's pride and satisfaction regarding the elected government led by President U Min Aung Hlaing in carrying out its national duties, plans to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the sectors of trade, economy, agriculture, mining, education, health, digital technology, and transportation and the potential for Kazakhstan, as a Central Asian nation, to increase economic connectivity between South Asian countries and ASEAN nations via China and through Myanmar.
