





The ninth day of the second regular session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was held at 10:00 a.m. on July 21, at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw, with 548 out of 560 eligible parliamentarians in attendance.
According to the agenda, U Zin Min Htet, Amyotha Hluttaw representative from Bago Region Constituency No. (1), read out and presented the Anti-Online Fraud Bill, which involved disagreeing opinions between the two Hluttaws sent from the Amyotha Hluttaw. It was announced that representatives wishing to discuss the bill could submit their names.
Next, U Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Amyotha Hluttaw representative from Kachin State Constituency No. (2), presented the joint bill committee's findings and opinion report regarding the Bill Amending the Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Union Budget (2026). It was announced that representatives interested in taking part in the discussion could register their names.
Following that, U Thein Tun Oo, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative from the Amarapura constituency in Mandalay Region, read out and presented the joint bill committee's findings report on the Bill Amending the Law Relating to Drafting and Submitting the Region or State Budget (2026). It was also announced that representatives wishing to discuss the matter could submit their names.
Afterward, regarding the continuation of the ordinance sent by the President, U Aye Paing (Yangon Region Constituency No. 6), Daw Khin Swe (Magway Region Constituency No. 12), Dr. Kyaw Swe (Taungdwingyi Constituency), U Yan Naing Oo (Yangon Region Constituency No. 9), and U Kyaw Zin Tun (Sagaing Region Constituency No. 8) participated in the discussion. The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw subsequently approved the extension of the President's ordinance for an additional 90 days. The meeting was then briefly adjourned, it’s reported.
