






The Ministry of Border Affairs on Friday provided assistance in Kayah State to support the resettlement of local ethnic communities.
At a ceremony held at Kayah State Hall, Union Minister Lt-Gen Phone Myat urged local ethnic communities to support regional stability and peace, stressing that sustainable development can be achieved only in a peaceful and stable environment.
He added that the ministry is continuing to implement resettlement and development programs, alongside efforts to foster peace and stability in border areas. During the event, basic food supplies were provided to 610 returnees in Demoso and Bawlakhe townships and 52 sets of solar lighting equipment were distributed to households in Makharaw Shey Village of Pharuso Township.
