Further Cooperation: Meeting with the UNDP delegation

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myo Zaw Thein and officials received Mr. Norimasa Shimomura, UNDP Resident Representative in Myanmar at the hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, the Union Minister said the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry is taking responsibility as the Technical Focal Point while UNDP has been implementing the “Community Recovery and Resilience Project” since 2023. They also exchanged views and discussed matters on cooperation in earthquake response activities and further cooperation measures with partner organizations.
