Security Measures: Tatmadaw regains full control of Thantlang

Tatmadaw has regained full control of Thantlang town in Chin State on July 16 after operations against armed groups and will continue reconstruction and development efforts in the area.

According to the report, troops completed operations to retake key locations in the town, including the police station, schools, hospital, fire station, and hotel zone, before fully securing Thantlang.

Authorities are delivering relief and reconstruction supplies, clearing landmines, repairing damaged infrastructure, and helping displaced residents return home. It also said government departments are working to restore public services and support local development in the area.
