Agricultural Training: Machinery Operation and Maintenance

The Agricultural Machinery Operation and Maintenance (Special) Training Course Batch No. 3/2026-2027 was launched at the Mechanized Farming Training School in Phayagyi Town, Bago Township, on October 5.

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the event and delivered opening remarks. He highlighted the essential of mechanized farming to increase crop yields, develop the agricultural sector and improve farmers’ socio-economic conditions, urging trainees to apply and share the skills gained for local development and higher agricultural productivity.

In this course, 51 trainees are receiving theoretical and practical training in agricultural machinery operation, maintenance and repair, including tractors, engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, driving methods and tillage implements. The trainees also include graduates of the first batch of People’s Military Service who have completed their designated term of service.
