Trump says Iran wants deal while Iran says no talks planned

U.S. President Donald Trump and Iranian officials remain locked in conflicting narratives amidst a severe escalation of military hostilities. On Wednesday, Trump claimed Iran reached out seeking a deal, while Iran’s Foreign Ministry explicitly denies requesting any new talks.

Iran strongly denied Trump's claims, stating that they have no negotiation plan at this time and are focused entirely on defense.
