Venezuela is undergoing a painstaking reconstruction process following devastating twin earthquakes that struck the country's northern coast. The disaster left more than 3,600 dead and caused widespread destruction, particularly in the coastal state of La Guaira.

Engineers and technical teams have begun evaluating and repairing structures, such as the residential complex in La Guaira, which was one of the first sites to initiate structural repairs. Besides, the government is working with banks to subsidize mortgages and temporarily banning the export of construction materials to prioritize domestic rebuilding.
