Türkiye is advancing towards becoming a leading power

Turkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said Türkiye is advancing towards becoming a leading power in the new global security order.

Erdoğan noted the international security paradigm is undergoing a radical transformation and that Türkiye is moving towards becoming one of the key powers in the emerging global order. Stressing the importance of self-reliance in defence, he said Türkiye has achieved an 82 percent domestic production rate in its defence industry and vowed never to compromise on national security.
