Honduras presidential plane auctioned off for $5.1 million

The international public auction of the Honduran presidential plane concluded on July 10. The aircraft—an Embraer Legacy 600 jet (serial number FAH-001)—was sold to a Mexican luxury flight firm. They submitted the sole bidding offer, securing the plane for a value that just barely exceeded the government’s established base price by about $37,000.
