Coordination Meeting: MGY Region CM delivered the opening address

The coordination meeting for boosting agricultural productivity in Magway Region was held on the afternoon of July 6 at the meeting hall of the Region Government Office in Magway.

During the coordination meeting, Region Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko stated that in order to advance crop cultivation and production in the agricultural sector of Magway Region, it is essential to increase cropping intensity and achieve target yields for higher productivity. He urged the departments responsible for the agricultural sector to work together collaboratively, provide necessary assistance, and successfully implement efforts for agricultural development.

Following this, Region Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, U Aung Naing, delivered an address regarding the development of multi-crop cultivation and production in Magway Region.

Afterward, the Regional Director of Agriculture and the Regional Director of Land Records gave briefings on their respective sectors. Following the general discussions and presentations on the agriculture and livestock sectors by the Chairmen of the District Administration bodies and other attendees, the Region Chief Minister coordinated with relevant departments to fulfill the necessary requirements, it’s reported.
