Turkiye sends aid, rescue teams to earthquake-hit Venezuela

Turkiye sent two military aircraft carrying search-and-rescue personnel, medical teams, and humanitarian aid to Venezuela following twin earthquakes that struck the Yaracuy region.

Search and rescue teams and humanitarian aid supplies set off from Murted Air Base Command to be transported to the disaster area aboard a Turkish Air Force A400M aircraft. According to information from the Turkish Ministry of National Defence, search and rescue teams under the command of the Turkish Armed Forces Humanitarian Aid Brigade will also provide support for the relief efforts.
