Regional Cooperation : Myanmar delegation attends 19th ERIA meeting in Jakarta

A Myanmar delegation led by Deputy Minister for National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations U Thant Sin Lwin attended the 19th Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, from June 22 to 23.

Prior to the meeting, the Deputy Minister met separately with ERIA Chairman Mr. Tetsuya Watanabe on the morning of June 22 and discussed cordially upon economic research. Later, the Deputy Minister and party attended a Pre-Coordination Meeting of ERIA Board. On the 23rd, they attended the 19th ERIA Governing Board Meeting and the Meeting between ERIA, Ambassadors of ERIA Member States and Dialogue Partners. Discusssions focused on the essential status of contemporary economic research process and coorperation between Myanmar and ERIA regarding the economic research.
