Putin inspects passenger planes developed by Russia

Putin visited on Wednesday the Mikhail Gromov Flight Research Institute in the city of Zhukovsky, near Moscow, to personally review the country's flagship commercial aviation projects. 

Following the inspection, Putin led a high-level government meeting focused on civil aviation development, making several firm declarations. He ordered the Transport Ministry to submit immediate updated forecasts and expansion strategies. Furthermore, Putin explicitly declared that aviation and manufacturing executives would be held personally accountable for meeting strict production deadlines, quantity targets, and quality safety standards.
