Amyotha Hluttaw Session: 10th day of 2nd regular session held

The Tenth Day of the Second Regular Session of the Third Amyotha Hluttaw was held at 10:30 a.m. on June 25 at the Amyotha Hluttaw Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Of the 209 representatives entitled to attend, 203 were present.

According to the agenda, the session began with the question-and-answer program. Questions were raised by U Sai Win Khine, Amyotha Hluttaw representative no. (10), from Shan State, asking whether there is a plan to upgrade the 25-bed hospital in Tangyan Township, Shan State (North), to a 50-bed hospital, U Chit Swe, Amyotha Hluttaw representative No. (10), from Ayeyawady Region, asking whether there is a plan to establish regional development and research centers in suitable regions and states to systematically implement agricultural and livestock production value chains, U Aung Kyaw Min, Amyotha Hluttaw representative No. (4), from Ayeyawady Region, asking whether there are plans to provide agricultural inputs, technical assistance, and energy requirements to support the socio-economic development of farmers.

Including these questions, a total of four questions were raised. The questions were answered by Dr. Aye Tun, Deputy Minister for Health, U Tun Lu, Deputy Minister for Transport and Dr. Ye Tint Tun, Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. Following the question-and-answer session, the meeting was temporarily adjourned.
