








Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin, accompanied by his wife Daw Nan Ku Ku, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Coastal Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Han and responsible officials, separately visited and addressed officers, other ranks, and family members from Myeik Station and the Tanintharyi Naval Base Headquarters on the Kyunsu Township on Wednesday morning.
First, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin delivered a speech. He said that (Army, Navy, Air Force) servicemen are making sacrifices and striving to counter the terrorist acts of various extremist groups that are disrupting and undermining the nation's stability through various means.
He emphasized that family members, together with currently serving servicemen, must continue to remain loyal to the nation and the military. He stressed that the leader at the helm of an organization is crucial, and that commanders must provide good and proper leadership to bring out the individual capabilities of officers and ranks, which will enable the unit to accomplish its objectives successfully.
He urged commanders to give due attention to providing correct and effective leadership. He noted that foreign-influenced self-serving organizations are employing various methods to incite and instigate activities aimed at weakening the Tatmadaw. Despite such efforts, servicemen must respect and abide by the rules and regulations set forth in their respective areas of duty and live in unity and solidarity.
After the meeting, General Kyaw Swa Lin presented food provisions to the officers, ranks, and families from the station commands, which were received by the Region Commander and responsible officials from the respective station commands. Similarly, the wife of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services presented cash assistance to the Maternal and Child Welfare Associations of the respective station commands, which were accepted by the responsible officials of each station command.
Afterward, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services and party cordially greeted and spoke with the officers, ranks, and family members who had attended the meetings. Likewise, General Kyaw Swa Lin and his party also inspected the local training school and the local naval base headquarters at the Kyunsu station Command, the displays at the Marine Biological Museum and Library at the local naval base headquarters in the Kyunsu Township, the seasonal crop cultivation at agricultural and livestock farms and the layer chicken breeding operations.
They also visited and inspected livestock farming and seasonal crop cultivation undertaken at the Regional Command Headquarters and local units and battalions at Myeik Station Command, asking questions about matters of interest and coordinating with responsible officials.
In addition, Wednesday afternoon, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services General Kyaw Swa Lin, together with his wife and responsible officials, visited the local military hospital in Myeik.
They cordially inquired individually about the medical conditions, treatments provided, and health improvements of officers and ranks receiving inpatient care, offered words of encouragement, and presented food provisions and donation funds.
Similarly, Daw Nan Ku Ku, wife of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army), and her party visited the Women's and Children's Ward, where they greeted and encouraged patients receiving treatment and presented food provisions.
