








Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin, accompanied by his wife Daw Nan Ku Ku, senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, Commander of Coastal Region Command MaJ-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Han, and responsible officials, visited and addressed officers, ranks and family members at the command hall in the Bokepyin military station, Tuesday afternoon.
First, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin delivered an address. He stated that military personnel belong to an organization that must protect and uphold the “Our Three Main Causes” with their very lives, and they should always take pride in their institution.
He acknowledged that although service members have been deployed on operational duties in frontline areas for extended periods, they have fulfilled their combat and security responsibilities commendably. As members of the Tatmadaw safeguarding the nation's sovereignty, he emphasized the need to live together in unity and harmony.
He further stressed that leaders who command and supervise units and formations must act with the spirit of a parent and the qualities of a good commander, striving to the best of their physical and intellectual abilities, showing goodwill, and exercising fair and impartial command to foster constant unity among their subordinates.
Following the meeting, General Kyaw Swa Lin presented food provisions for the officers, ranks and families of the station, which were received by a responsible official from the station. Similarly, the wife of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief (Army) presented donations to the Maternal and Child Welfare Association of the station, which were also received by a responsible official. Afterwards, General Kyaw Swa Lin and officials warmly greeted and spoke with the officers, ranks and family members who had attended the event, it’s reported.
