Thousands take part in one of the world's largest kite festivals on North Sea coast

Thousands of kites fly along Denmark's western coast in Fanø, Denmark on Sunday in one of the world's largest kite festivals. Over 5,000 kite fliers and builders from across the globe—including Europe, the US, Australia, and Asia—descended onto the wide, sandy beaches of Rindby Strand. Over the course of the multi-day event, thousands of unique kites flew simultaneously, stretching across the coast and visible from the Danish mainland.
