Norwegian football fans flood New York's Times Square and perform the Viking row on the eve of their team's World Cup Group I match against Senegal. Clad in red-and-blue jerseys and Viking helmets, rows of fans sat down on the asphalt of Times Square to perform the "Viking Row."

Moving rhythmically forward and backward to a steady, booming drumbeat, the crowd created a massive, wave-like rowing motion. This stunt follows previous viral appearances by Norwegian fans, who were recently seen doing the Viking Row up public escalators at Boston’s South Station. This tournament marks a historic return for Norway, celebrating their first World Cup appearance in 28 years (their last being in 1994).
