U.S. President Donald Trump announced on social media that there will be no tolls in the Strait of Hormuz during a 60-day ceasefire period.

In his statement, Trump said no tolls would be charged after the 60-day period expires unless they are imposed by the United States should the agreement fail to be completed. Trump added that any future tolls would be intended as reimbursement for what he described as U.S. services and protection provided to countries in the Middle East.
