Parliamentary Affairs: Myanmar delegation arrives in Moscow for Int'l Forum

A Myanmar delegation led by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi arrived in Moscow to attend the 2nd International Forum of the Union State titled “Great Heritage – Common Future.”

The delegation travelled from Yangon via Bangkok before arriving at Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow on Thursday evening. They were welcomed at the airport by senior officials from the Russian State Duma, representatives from Belarus, and Myanmar’s Ambassador to Russia U Myo Moe Aung and embassy staff.

During brief discussions at the airport VIP lounge, both sides exchanged views on bilateral friendship, parliamentary cooperation, and plans to strengthen inter-parliamentary relations through friendship groups. The delegation is scheduled to participate in the international forum during their visit.
