Trump tours the new Air Force One and delivers remarks

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday toured the new Air Force One and delivered remarks in front of the aircraft, highlighting its luxury upgrades and thanking Qatar for its contribution to the project. A former Qatari-owned jumbo jet, converted into the new presidential aircraft, is nearly ready for service. Trump said it had been transformed into "a flying White House."

He confirmed that he would be taking the new jet to the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkiye, next month and indicated he would be returning to China “at some point,” presumably a reference to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit that China is hosting in November. His return from the Group of 7 summit in France this week was the last planned trip aboard the old Air Force One, he said.
