Meeting with Departmental Officials: Kayah State CM met with departmental officials

The Kayah State Government is placing a strong emphasis on regional development initiatives and the successful execution of project operations. To implement this actions, Chief Minister U Ant Maw, accompanied by concerned officials, attended a meeting on work plans on Thursday morning at the State Department of Agriculture.

During the meeting, the Township Officer presented a report on the ongoing measures and implementations concerning crop varieties, soil management, irrigation, and agricultural techniques as well as departmental officials also reported their tasks.

In his respond, the Chief Minister urged officials to follow ministry’s instructions and focused to achieve the target yield for the 14 major crops. He pledged state government will contribute not only tasks implementation but also for staff welfare matters.

After that, the Chief Minister inspected office compound where the damaged area that were destroy by insurgents and instructed to carry out, in line with standard operating procedures. His tour was concluded by visiting the coffee nursery and observed the 30-acre lowland variety plantation. Then, he instructed the officials for effective distributing and successful cultivation.
