



At the invitation of President Mr. Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently on a State Visit to the People’s Republic of China, paid tribute by laying a wreath at the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square Tuesday afternoon.
First, upon arrival at the Monument to the People’s Heroes in Tiananmen Square, the Myanmar high-level delegation led by the President was welcomed by senior Chinese officials. A military band from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) performed the national anthems of both countries in honor of the occasion.
Afterwards, the President stood behind the two officers carrying the wreath, while senior Chinese officials and members of the Myanmar delegation stood behind him in their respective positions. They then proceeded in formation toward the wreath-laying site.
The President then laid a wreath and paid tribute at the Monument to the People’s Heroes accompanied by music performed by the PLA military band. Following the ceremony, the President warmly greeted the senior Chinese officials before departing, according to reports.
