








Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism and Culture, U Maung Myint, visited the Myanmar Arts Center (Yangon), an international-standard arts hub under construction in East Kyo Kone Ward, Insein Township, Yangon Region, Monday morning to inspect the ongoing construction works.
First, in the construction briefing hall, Project Director Daw Yu Yu Naing from Myanmar Land and Development Ltd. presented the current status of the construction of the Myanmar Arts Center (Yangon) using a PowerPoint presentation. Next, Director-General U Nyunt Win of the Department of Fine Arts presented explanations regarding the building design, architectural plans, and objectives of constructing the international-standard Myanmar Arts Center (Yangon), also using a PowerPoint presentation.
The Union Minister and officials then inspected the construction site of the Myanmar Arts Center (Yangon) building. The Union Minister instructed that attention be given to sound systems, occupational safety at the work site, and timely completion of the project within the scheduled period.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited the High School of Arts (Yangon) at No. 131, Kabar Aye Pagoda Road, where he met with staff, provided necessary guidance, and inspected teaching activities in the Performing Arts Department and Fine Arts Departments, as well as the school campus, it’s reported.
