Romania President taps new PM to form government

Romanian President Nicusor Dan on Sunday nominated Liberal Party leader Adrian Vestea as the new prime minister, tasked with forming a government. Vestea was tapped after the previous nominee, independent politician Eugen Tomac, withdrew his mandate. The nomination comes amid ongoing political instability and coalition feuds following the collapse of former Prime Minister's government in early May.
