Ethnic Affairs: Cultural and literature exchange event for ethnic groups

The Bago Region Government organized a cultural and literature exchange event for ethnic groups was held at the City Hall in Bago on Thursday.

Chief Minister Myo Swe Win attended the event and made a speech, saying that the event aimed at promoting ethnic languages and preserving traditional cultures of Kayin, Asho Chin, Mon, Shan, and Pa-O communities. He encouraged cooperation among all ethnic groups for regional development and national unity.

Representatives from the ethnic cultural groups presented papers on their traditions, while cultural teams performed traditional dances. Awards and recognition were given to participants, and ethnic cultural exhibitions were displayed for visitors.
