French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Montenegro on Thursday, for an official bilateral visit hosted by his Montenegrin counterpart Jakov Milatović. This marks the first official visit by a French President to Montenegro, underscoring strong French support for the country’s European Union accession process.

During the meetings, both leaders mainly discussed on Montenegro's reform path.
