Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said in a presser in Tehran that the United States had continued to violate the ceasefire, adding that a ceasefire in Lebanon remains a key condition for a deal. "Iran know when it is necessary to act on nuclear matters.

No negotiations have taken place on the details of the nuclear file. At this stage, Iran priority is ending the war," Baqaei said in a weekly press briefing. He stressed that diplomacy should not be viewed as a substitute for power and said negotiations do not necessarily imply mutual trust. “When the other side issues contradictory statements and conflicting media messages, it prolongs the negotiation process,” Baqaei said.
