Coordination Meeting: Chief Minister attends development planning meeting

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Ko Lay attended a coordination meeting on drafting the region’s five-year local development plan for the 2026–2027 to 2030–2031 fiscal years.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for cooperation among departments to improve education, healthcare, agriculture, livestock, transportation, MSME businesses, and regional development.

He also stressed the importance of accurate data, systematic planning, and effective use of public funds for projects that truly benefit the people. Officials presented their planned development activities for the five-year period. The Chief Minister coordinated necessary actions and delivered closing remarks.
