On Wednesday, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with his Polish counterpart Donald Tusk in London to sign a historic bilateral defense and security treaty. The agreement aims to bolster NATO's eastern flank, and strengthen European security amid shifting geopolitical dynamics.

The leaders agreed to combine expertise for joint development of next-generation medium-range air defense missiles and uncrewed systems. Besides, both Starmer and Tusk addressed the sharp uptick in cyberattacks and espionage, agreeing to share intelligence and best practices.
